The sixth grade is currently working on their "lab experience" unit where they have been practicing utilizing lab skills in collecting, graphing, and analyzing data. They are also learning to draw conclusions from the data. In this unit, students have also been practicing writing hypotheses and completing lab summaries of their findings.

Mrs. Acla describes Thursday's lab:
"Students were busily collecting data for their Drop Height v. Bounce Height Lab. In this lab, students collect data for three different ball types in an effort to, not only establish a relationship between drop height and bounce height, but also to investigate how other properties (such as product material and mass) can have an affect bounce height."
