    GLOBAL I:
    Today the students will wrap up the notes about Japan. We didn't get as far as I expected yesterday so we are a little behind. Hopefully we will finish everything today. No matter how far I get, they have a quiz tomorrow on the notes on Japan. Anything we don't cover before the quiz will be crossed out. This quiz is the first grade of the 3rd marking period. Also tomorrow the students turn in the bonus material for the unit exam at the end of the week. By the end of the class today the students should be able to answer these questions:

    List 2 things emperor did once they became figureheads.

    What term is used for the military rulers of Japan?

    Define shoguns.
