We have arranged an October 10 field trip to New York City’s theater district for high school students who take classes at GMU.

There is no cost to students or their families for this all-inclusive trip as grant funding will cover lunch, dinner, transportation and tickets for the musical The Great Gatsby at NYC’s Broadway Theatre.

On October 10, students and their chaperones will leave campus at 6:15 a.m. and return at 10:30 p.m. Students should wear comfortable clothing/footwear and may bring a small backpack for personal items, as well as spending money for personal purchases (optional).

This field trip is designed to be fun, educational and memorable as students in Grades 9-12 who take classes at GMU will watch high-quality theater performances in person, learn about storytelling, history and the performing arts, and experience the NYC culture.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Permission slips were due by September 27.
