School Taxes: Collection information

School Tax collection in the Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School District will begin September 1, 2020.

In-person payments are strictly prohibited at this time because of COVID-19. Therefore, payments can only be mailed in or dropped off in front of the school. All checks must be made payable to “GMU Tax Collector.”

Checks should be mailed to Gilbertsville-Mount Upton School District, Attn: Tax Collector, 693 State Highway 51, Gilbertsville, New York, 13776.

Payments also may be left in the secure drop box at the school’s main entrance during regular business hours (8 a.m.-4 p.m.). A receipt will be mailed to those who drop off payments.

School Tax bills will be mailed during the last week of August. If you do not receive your bill or if you have any questions, please call Dort Iannello at 607-783-2207, ext. 144.
