Our 2021 Summer Reading Challenge is set to begin Thursday, July 1! The challenge is for all GMU students in grades K-5 to read (or be read aloud to) for at least 20 minutes a day, five days a week.

Each student was given a Summer Reading Challenge packet to take home last week. Students must record their daily reading on the two enclosed calendar pages, then return the calendars on the first day of school or submit them to Mrs. Weidman virtually. Students who complete the challenge will be rewarded with a special reading celebration in September!
