Gilbertsville-Mount Upton will change its automatic notification system this month to ParentSquare, a secure digital platform designed to improve school-to-home communication. ParentSquare unifies the distribution of important information from a variety of school-related sources, allowing parents/guardians to receive all district communications in one service.

An email invitation to register for a ParentSquare account will be sent to GMU parents/guardians on Friday, October 15. Registration is not required to receive automatic notifications, but it will allow two-way communication with the district through ParentSquare.

All GMU parents/guardians will receive a call and an email from ParentSquare around 6 p.m. Sunday, October 17, as a test to ensure the system works correctly.

Parents/guardians also can download the ParentSquare App, which is available on Google Play (Android) and in the Apple App Store (iOS).
