Congratulations to GMU students who participated in the New York State Conservation Competition last Thursday, May 18, at SUNY Cobleskill.
Morgan Williams led the way with a third-place finish in Maple Production Identification and Knowledge. She also competed in Team Skidsteer Operation, Team Pulp Throw, Jack and Jill Crosscut, and Female Pulp Throw.
Thomas Breslau took fifth in the Chainsaw Speed Cut. He also competed in Tree Felling, Team Pulp Throw, Axe Throwing, and One-Person Pulp Throw.
Corbin Page also earned a fifth-place finish, in the Bow Saw, and competed in the Log Skidder Operation, Tree ID, and Team Peavy Log Roll.
