Gilbertsville-Mount Upton will host fundraisers for the classes of 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 in November and December. Keep reading to find out how to participate!

Gilbertsville-Mount Upton’s Board of Education Scholarship Fundraiser will be a Chicken Dinner Pickup on December 22. Proceeds will go toward scholarships for the Class of 2021.

Brooks' House of Bar-B-Q chicken dinners may be picked up at school from 3-7 p.m. December 22. All chicken dinners (half-chicken, baked potato, homemade coleslaw or macaroni, homemade cookie) must be pre-ordered by December 14 and cost $15 apiece. Gilbertsville-Mount Upton’s Class of 2022 invites community members to a non-alcoholic Paint and Sip Fundraiser from 6:30-8:30 p.m. November 13 at the Mount Upton Firehouse (1698 State Highway 8).

Face coverings and proper social distancing is required to attend as all COVID-19 safety guidelines will be strictly enforced.

Cost is $30 per person (all ages welcome). Please make checks payable to the GMU Class of 2022 and mail or send your payment to school to reserve your spot.

GMU will host a White Elephant fundraiser in December to benefit its Class of 2023. Items will be showcased for in-person viewing from 3-6 p.m. December 16-18. All payments are due the morning of December 21 as the drawing will take place later that day. Prizes may be picked up during the Chicken Dinner fundraiser on December 22.

GMU’s Class of 2024 is raising money for future school events by selling coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, honey sticks, flavored syrups, K-cups and more from Driven Coffee Roasters. This fundraiser starts November 9.
