Health Center to open at GMU
School-Based Health Center girl with computer interaction (7/2020)

The Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School District and Bassett Healthcare Network are pleased to announce that a School-Based Health Center will open at GMU during the 2020-2021 school year.

The SBHC will begin taking appointments August 5, 2020 and will be open to enrolled students every Wednesday in August. Once school starts in September, the SBHC will be open two days a week (days TBA).

Should an enrolled student need an appointment on a day our SBHC is closed, please call 1-844-255-7242 to make an appointment at an open SBHC in a neighboring district.

All GMU students are eligible to enroll in the SBHC program, which offers primary healthcare services, preventive dental services, mental health services, and health education. Physicals, immunizations, lab work, referrals to specialists and other services will be available through the SBHC.

Enrollment packages have been mailed to district families and should be received by the end of this week.

This program has been made possible through a grant secured by NYS Senator James Seward as well as a generous contribution by the Clark Foundation. For more information, call Bassett at 1-844-255-7242.
