Gilbertsville-Mount Upton thanks Sharon Harris and Sidney Elks Lodge #2175 for their continued generosity in support of our Backpack Program!
GMU Principal Heather Wilcox (left) and Librarian/Backpack Program Coordinator Raquel Norton (right) welcomed Sharon and her massive delivery of brand-new clothes, boots, sneakers, bags, toiletries and more during dismissal Thursday afternoon.
Sharon secured a $2,500 grant from the Elks National Foundation that went toward the purchase of the aforementioned items for students in the GMU, Bainbridge-Guilford, Sidney and Unatego school districts.
