Congratulations to GMU junior Hannah Bonczkowski on her all-state selection for the 2021-2022 girls basketball season!
Hannah earned an all-state honorable mention in Class D from the New York State Sportswriters Association. She became GMU’s first all-state girls basketball player since at least 2005. Although the NYSSWA has compiled all-state teams for decades, its online archives only date back to 2005.
The Bonczkowskis now have two all-state players in the family as her brother, 2021 GMU graduate Gavin Bonczkowski, received Class D boys basketball honorable mentions in 2020 and 2019.
Way to go, Hannah!
