SCHOOL CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 29
GMU campus (3/2020)

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday, April 6, 2020, that schools would remain closed until April 29, 2020, because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Cuomo had announced Friday, March 27, 2020, that schools would remain closed until April 15, 2020.

Schools were initially supposed to be closed for two weeks (March 18-April 1), as per the governor's executive order issued March 17, 2020.

Schools will be expected to continue with their plans for childcare, meals and distance learning, and the 180-day waiver will remain in effect.
