Congratulations to our varsity girls basketball team for earning a 2024-2025 Winter Scholar-Athlete Team Award from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association!

To qualify for this award, 75-percent of a varsity team must combine for an academic average of at least 90 during a sports season.

The NYSPHSAA also recognizes individuals as scholar-athletes for maintaining an academic average of 90 or better during a sports season. Twelve GMU varsity basketball players – seven girls and five boys – earned individual Winter Scholar-Athlete Awards.
