Congratulations to GMU senior guard Devon Hartwell and our varsity boys basketball team on their Senior Night victory over Sharon Springs on January 11!
Devon made 10 three-point field goals and finished with 48 points to lead the Raiders to a 75-51 Tri-Valley League win. Five of Devon's threes came in his 19-point fourth quarter, when GMU outscored SS, 27-21, to seal the triumph.
Devon's big night offset Mike Cashman's 34 points for Sharon Springs. The Raiders also received seven points from Jeffrey Barnes and six apiece from Noah Pain and Zach Wilson (two threes).
Other GMU scorers were Anthony Westford (three points), Kyle Keuhn (three), and Hunter Auchmoody (two). Keuhn's points came on a three-pointer in the second quarter, helping the Raiders to a 33-18 halftime lead and a team total of 13 threes.
