NYS updates for 2022-2023

As we enter a new phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, New York State is changing COVID-19 guidance to give school districts more flexibility during the 2022-2023 school year.

Updated guidance, including FAQs for school districts and parents/guardians, is available on the New York State Education Department's online Health and Safety page.

Links to the following documents are available on this page:

This guidance was developed through a partnership between NYSED and the NYS Department of Health, based, in part, on federal recommendations.

Questions may be directed to the NYSDOH by email at [email protected].
